Baznas Bazis to Renovate 595 Houses This Year

The Jakarta Baznas Bazis is targeting to renovate 595 houses belonging to underpriviledged people in Jakarta this year.

Jakarta Baznas Bazis Head Akhmad Abubakar expressed this year's target was higher than last year which reached 535 houses and 355 houses in 2020.
He explained it was realized in collaboration with the city government urban villages, and locals.

In 2020, around 55 houses were renovated from the target set at 44 houses. Then in 2021, 57 were renovated from the target set at 52 houses.
The following is 595 houses in Jakarta that will be renovated this year:
- 70 houses in Central Jakarta
- 62 houses in North Jakarta. It is higher compared to 2021 with 50 houses and 34 in 2020
- 136 houses in West Jakarta. It is lower compared to 2021 with 125 from the target at 112 houses and 50 in 2020
- 130 houses in South Jakarta. It is lower compared to 2020 with 82 from the target at 78 houses and 130 in 2021
- 187 houses in East Jakarta. It is higher compared to 2021 with 160 houses and 121 in 2020
Aside that, about 10 houses in Seribu Islands will also be renovated this year. The number is the same in 2020 and lower than 2021 with 13 houses.
